Materials Data on USnPt by Materials Project

UPtSn is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded to four equivalent Pt and six equivalent Sn atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing USn6Pt4 tetrahedra. All U–Pt bond lengths are 2.87 Å. All U–Sn bond lengths are 3.31 Å. Pt is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent U and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Pt–Sn bond lengths are 2.87 Å. Sn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and four equivalent Pt atoms.

Materials Data on U3Sn4Pt3 by Materials Project

U3Pt3Sn4 crystallizes in the cubic I-43d space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and eight equivalent Sn atoms. All U–Pt bond lengths are 2.99 Å. There are four shorter (3.33 Å) and four longer (3.42 Å) U–Sn bond lengths. Pt is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent U and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Pt–Sn bond lengths are 2.75 Å. Sn is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and three equivalent Pt atoms.

Materials Data on U2SnPt2 by Materials Project

U2Pt2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt atoms. There are two shorter (2.91 Å) and four longer (2.95 Å) U–Pt bond lengths. Pt is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and two equivalent Sn atoms. Both Pt–Sn bond lengths are 2.79 Å. Sn is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Pt atoms.

Materials Data on USnPt by Materials Project

UPtSn crystallizes in the hexagonal P-62m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to five Pt and six equivalent Sn atoms. There are four shorter (3.07 Å) and one longer (3.08 Å) U–Pt bond lengths. There are two shorter (3.24 Å) and four longer (3.40 Å) U–Sn bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Pt sites. In the first Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent U and six equivalent Sn atoms. All Pt–Sn bond lengths are 2.82 Å. In the second Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and three equivalent Sn atoms. All Pt–Sn bond lengths are 2.83 Å. Sn is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and four Pt atoms.

Materials Data on U2SnPt2 by Materials Project

U2Pt2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2/mnm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent U sites. In the first U site, U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.86 Å) and four longer (2.97 Å) U–Pt bond lengths. All U–Sn bond lengths are 3.37 Å. In the second U site, U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.84 Å) and four longer (3.03 Å) U–Pt bond lengths. All U–Sn bond lengths are 3.46 Å. Pt is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six U and two equivalent Sn atoms. Both Pt–Sn bond lengths are 3.04 Å. Sn is bonded to eight U and four equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing SnU8Pt4 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on USnPt2 by Materials Project

UPt2Sn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded to six equivalent Pt atoms to form edge-sharing UPt6 octahedra. All U–Pt bond lengths are 2.83 Å. Pt is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to three equivalent U and three equivalent Sn atoms. There are one shorter (2.80 Å) and two longer (2.81 Å) Pt–Sn bond lengths. Sn is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt atoms.
