Materials Data on ZrScPt2 by Materials Project
ScZrPt2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScZrPt2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Sc–Pt bond lengths are 2.36 Å. Zr2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Zr–Pt bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc2+ and one Zr2+ atom.
