Materials Data on PrZn2 by Materials Project
PrZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Pr–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.15–3.41 Å. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pr and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are three shorter (2.65 Å) and one longer (2.90 Å) Zn–Zn bond lengths.
