Materials Data on Pr4Sb3 by Materials Project

Pr4Sb3 crystallizes in the cubic I-43d space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Sb atoms. There are three shorter (3.19 Å) and three longer (3.45 Å) Pr–Sb bond lengths. Sb is bonded to eight equivalent Pr atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, corner, and face-sharing SbPr8 hexagonal bipyramids.

Materials Data on PrSb2 by Materials Project

PrSb2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmce space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr3+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Sb+1.50- atoms. There are a spread of Pr–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.21–3.50 Å. There are two inequivalent Sb+1.50- sites. In the first Sb+1.50- site, Sb+1.50- is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Pr3+ and one Sb+1.50- atom. The Sb–Sb bond length is 2.85 Å. In the second Sb+1.50- site, Sb+1.50- is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pr3+ and four equivalent Sb+1.50- atoms. There are two shorter (3.11 Å) and two longer (3.18 Å) Sb–Sb bond lengths.
