Materials Data on USnPd by Materials Project

UPdSn crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent U, six equivalent Pd, and six equivalent Sn atoms. Both U–U bond lengths are 2.89 Å. All U–Pd bond lengths are 3.22 Å. There are three shorter (3.22 Å) and three longer (3.23 Å) U–Sn bond lengths. Pd is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and five equivalent Sn atoms. There are four shorter (2.88 Å) and one longer (2.90 Å) Pd–Sn bond lengths. Sn is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and five equivalent Pd atoms.

Materials Data on U2SnPd2 by Materials Project

U2Pd2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pd and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.86 Å) and four longer (3.01 Å) U–Pd bond lengths. All U–Sn bond lengths are 3.41 Å. Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U, one Pd, and two equivalent Sn atoms. The Pd–Pd bond length is 2.82 Å. Both Pd–Sn bond lengths are 3.01 Å. Sn is bonded to eight equivalent U and four equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing SnU8Pd4 cuboctahedra.
