Materials Data on NpPt by Materials Project
PtNp crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Np is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Pt atoms. There are a spread of Np–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.86–3.10 Å. Pt is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Np and two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Pt–Pt bond lengths are 2.90 Å.
