Materials Data on Ni2PPd by Materials Project
PdNi2P crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to ten equivalent Ni and three equivalent P atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.75–2.83 Å. There are one shorter (2.42 Å) and two longer (2.51 Å) Pd–P bond lengths. Ni is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Pd and three equivalent P atoms. There are one shorter (2.25 Å) and two longer (2.27 Å) Ni–P bond lengths. P is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pd and six equivalent Ni atoms.
