Materials Data on Nd2NiIr by Materials Project
Nd2IrNi is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ir and four equivalent Ni atoms. All Nd–Ir bond lengths are 3.07 Å. All Nd–Ni bond lengths are 3.07 Å. Ir is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Nd atoms. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Nd atoms.
