Materials Data on NbVP by Materials Project
NbVP crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nb is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent P atoms. There are a spread of Nb–P bond distances ranging from 2.58–2.77 Å. V is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent P atoms. There are a spread of V–P bond distances ranging from 2.38–2.49 Å. P is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Nb and four equivalent V atoms.
