Materials Data on NaZn2Au by Materials Project
NaAuZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NaAuZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Na–Zn bond lengths are 2.91 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Au–Zn bond lengths are 2.54 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Na and one Au atom.
