Materials Data on NaSr2Cd by Materials Project
NaSr2Cd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NaSr2Cd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms. Both Na–Sr bond lengths are 3.70 Å. Sr is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Na and one Cd atom. The Sr–Cd bond length is 3.27 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr atoms.
