Materials Data on NaSnSb by Materials Project
NaSbSn is Molybdenite-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two NaSbSn sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Na1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Sb3- atoms. All Na–Sb bond lengths are 3.32 Å. Sn2+ is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to three equivalent Sb3- atoms. All Sn–Sb bond lengths are 2.93 Å. Sb3- is bonded to three equivalent Na1+ and three equivalent Sn2+ atoms to form distorted edge-sharing SbNa3Sn3 octahedra.
