Materials Data on Na3TiP8O23 by Materials Project

Na3TiP8O23 crystallizes in the cubic P4_132 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form NaO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra and edges with four equivalent NaO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.41–2.62 Å. Ti3+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. All Ti–O bond lengths are 2.04 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent NaO6 octahedra and corners with three equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 57°. There is one shorter (1.48 Å) and three longer (1.58 Å) P–O bond length. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one TiO6 octahedra, corners with two equivalent NaO6 octahedra, and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 39–60°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.64 Å. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Ti3+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to three equivalent Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent P5+ atoms. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to two equivalent Na1+ and one P5+ atom.

NaTiP2O7 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.44–2.74 Å. Ti3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Ti–O bond distances ranging from 2.01–2.12 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent TiO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 32–54°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.63 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent TiO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 18–51°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.63 Å. There are seven inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Ti3+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Ti3+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Ti3+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+ and two P5+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Ti3+, and one P5+ atom. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.45–2.98 Å. Ti3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Ti–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–2.13 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent TiO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 20–44°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.63 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent TiO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 12–50°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.63 Å. There are seven inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Na1+, one Ti3+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Ti3+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ti3+ and one P5+ atom. NaTiOPO4 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.25–2.83 Å. Ti4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent TiO6 octahedra and corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 36°. There are a spread of Ti–O bond distances ranging from 1.75–2.06 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 31–51°. There is one shorter (1.55 Å) and three longer (1.56 Å) P–O bond length. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+ and two equivalent Ti4+ atoms. NaTi2(PO4)3 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent O2- atoms. All Na–O bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Ti4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. There is three shorter (1.92 Å) and three longer (1.99 Å) Ti–O bond length. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 24–35°. All P–O bond lengths are 1.54 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Ti4+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Ti4+ and one P5+ atom.

Na4TiO(PO4)2 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are eleven inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.36–2.79 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted NaO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent TiO6 octahedra, corners with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra, and edges with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 58°. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.44–2.55 Å. In the third Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.33–3.01 Å. In the fourth Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.22–2.50 Å. In the fifth Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.31–2.49 Å. In the first Ti4+ site, Ti4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form TiO6 octahedra that share corners with two TiO6 octahedra and corners with four PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 44–47°. There are a spread of Ti–O bond distances ranging from 1.91–2.07 Å. In the fourth P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one NaO6 octahedra and corners with two TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 42–70°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.58 Å. In the fifth P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one NaO6 octahedra and corners with two TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 40–64°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.58 Å. There are twenty-three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom. Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted NaO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent TiO6 octahedra, corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra, edges with two equivalent NaO6 octahedra, and faces with two equivalent TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 62°. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.26–2.41 Å. Ti4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted TiO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent NaO6 octahedra, corners with two equivalent TiO6 octahedra, corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra, and faces with two equivalent NaO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 35–62°. There are a spread of Ti–O bond distances ranging from 1.74–2.23 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent NaO6 octahedra and corners with four equivalent TiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 34–61°. There is three shorter (1.55 Å) and one longer (1.57 Å) P–O bond length. There are four inequivalent O2- sites.
