Materials Data on Na(AuO2)2 by Materials Project

Na(AuO2)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent O2- atoms. All Na–O bond lengths are 2.60 Å. Au+3.50+ is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent O2- atoms. All Au–O bond lengths are 2.02 Å. O2- is bonded in a see-saw-like geometry to two equivalent Na1+ and two equivalent Au+3.50+ atoms.
