Materials Data on PrN by Materials Project

PrN is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr3+ is bonded to six equivalent N3- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing PrN6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Pr–N bond lengths are 2.61 Å. N3- is bonded to six equivalent Pr3+ atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing NPr6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.

Materials Data on PrN by Materials Project

PrN crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/nmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one PrN sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Pr3+ is bonded to four equivalent N3- atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing PrN4 trigonal pyramids. All Pr–N bond lengths are 2.42 Å. N3- is bonded to four equivalent Pr3+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing NPr4 trigonal pyramids.

PrN is Zincblende, Sphalerite structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr3+ is bonded to four equivalent N3- atoms to form corner-sharing PrN4 tetrahedra. All Pr–N bond lengths are 2.41 Å. N3- is bonded to four equivalent Pr3+ atoms to form corner-sharing NPr4 tetrahedra.

PrN is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr3+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent N3- atoms. All Pr–N bond lengths are 2.74 Å. N3- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pr3+ atoms.

Pr3+ is bonded to six equivalent N3- atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, corner, and face-sharing PrN6 pentagonal pyramids. All Pr–N bond lengths are 2.60 Å. N3- is bonded to six equivalent Pr3+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, corner, and face-sharing NPr6 pentagonal pyramids.
