Materials Data on ThN4O17 by Materials Project

ThN4O17 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Fdd2 space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight ThN4O17 clusters. Th is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to eleven O atoms. There are a spread of Th–O bond distances ranging from 2.38–2.64 Å. There are two inequivalent N sites. In the first N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.22–1.30 Å. In the second N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.23–1.29 Å. There are nine inequivalent O sites. In the first O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Th atom. In the second O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the third O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the fourth O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one O atom. The O–O bond length is 2.08 Å. In the fifth O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Th and one O atom. In the sixth O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the seventh O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the eighth O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the ninth O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Th and one N atom.

Materials Data on ThN3O14 by Materials Project

ThN3O14 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of two ThN3O14 clusters. Th is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to ten O atoms. There are a spread of Th–O bond distances ranging from 2.28–3.16 Å. There are three inequivalent N sites. In the first N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There is one shorter (1.21 Å) and two longer (1.30 Å) N–O bond length. In the second N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. In the third N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.32 Å. There are fourteen inequivalent O sites. In the first O site, O is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the second O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O atom. The O–O bond length is 1.23 Å. In the third O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the fourth O site, O is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Th and one O atom. The O–O bond length is 1.52 Å. In the fifth O site, O is bonded in a water-like geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the sixth O site, O is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the seventh O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Th and one O atom. In the eighth O site, O is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the ninth O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the tenth O site, O is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to one Th and one N atom. Materials Data on Th(NO4)4 by Materials Project

Th(N2O7)2O2 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four hydrogen peroxide molecules and four Th(N2O7)2 clusters. In each Th(N2O7)2 cluster, Th is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to nine O atoms. There are a spread of Th–O bond distances ranging from 2.44–3.09 Å. There are four inequivalent N sites. In the first N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. In the second N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. In the third N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. In the fourth N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. There are fourteen inequivalent O sites. Materials Data on Th2N2O by Materials Project

Th2N2O crystallizes in the trigonal P-3m1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Th4+ is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to four equivalent N3- and three equivalent O2- atoms. There are three shorter (2.35 Å) and one longer (2.38 Å) Th–N bond lengths. All Th–O bond lengths are 2.74 Å. N3- is bonded to four equivalent Th4+ atoms to form NTh4 tetrahedra that share corners with six equivalent OTh6 octahedra, corners with six equivalent NTh4 tetrahedra, edges with three equivalent OTh6 octahedra, and edges with three equivalent NTh4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 20–56°. O2- is bonded to six equivalent Th4+ atoms to form OTh6 octahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NTh4 tetrahedra, edges with six equivalent OTh6 octahedra, and edges with six equivalent NTh4 tetrahedra.

Materials Data on ThN3O14 by Materials Project

ThN2O9NO3O2 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four hydrogen peroxide molecules, four nitric acid molecules, and two ThN2O9 clusters. In each ThN2O9 cluster, Th is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven O atoms. There are a spread of Th–O bond distances ranging from 2.12–2.99 Å. There are two inequivalent N sites. In the first N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There is one shorter (1.22 Å) and two longer (1.30 Å) N–O bond length. In the second N site, N is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O atoms. There are a spread of N–O bond distances ranging from 1.21–1.31 Å. There are nine inequivalent O sites. In the first O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the second O site, O is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the third O site, O is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the fourth O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N atom. In the fifth O site, O is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Th and one O atom. The O–O bond length is 1.23 Å. In the sixth O site, O is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the seventh O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O atom. In the eighth O site, O is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Th and one N atom. In the ninth O site, O is bonded in a water-like geometry to two equivalent Th atoms.

Th(NO3)6N2 is Brookite-like structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four ammonia molecules and two nitric acid;thorium molecules.
