Materials Data on MnZn2Pt by Materials Project
MnPtZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MnPtZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Mn–Zn bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Pt–Zn bond lengths are 2.40 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mn and one Pt atom.
