Materials Data on MnHgPd2 by Materials Project
MnPd2Hg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MnPd2Hg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Mn–Pd bond lengths are 2.38 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mn and one Hg atom. The Pd–Hg bond length is 2.70 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
