Materials Data on MnBeCo2 by Materials Project
BeMnCo2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeMnCo2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Be–Co bond lengths are 2.13 Å. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Mn–Co bond lengths are 2.42 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Mn atom.
