Materials Data on Mn2CoIr by Materials Project
Mn2IrCo crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mn2IrCo ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Co atom. The Mn–Ir bond length is 2.38 Å. The Mn–Co bond length is 2.42 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mn atoms. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mn atoms.
