Materials Data on MnPRh by Materials Project
MnRhP crystallizes in the orthorhombic Amm2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Mn sites. In the first Mn site, Mn is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six Rh and five P atoms. There are two shorter (2.74 Å) and four longer (2.78 Å) Mn–Rh bond lengths. There are one shorter (2.36 Å) and four longer (2.60 Å) Mn–P bond lengths. In the second Mn site, Mn is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six Rh and five P atoms. There are two shorter (2.75 Å) and four longer (2.78 Å) Mn–Rh bond lengths. There are a spread of Mn–P bond distances ranging from 2.36–2.61 Å. There are two inequivalent Rh sites. In the first Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six Mn and four P atoms. There are two shorter (2.23 Å) and two longer (2.43 Å) Rh–P bond lengths. In the second Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six Mn and four P atoms. There are a spread of Rh–P bond distances ranging from 2.23–2.43 Å. There are two inequivalent P sites. In the first P site, P is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Mn and three Rh atoms. In the second P site, P is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three Mn and six Rh atoms.
