Materials Data on MgInAu2 by Materials Project
MgAu2In crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgAu2In ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Mg–Au bond lengths are 2.58 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one In atom. The Au–In bond length is 2.70 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms.
