Materials Data on Mg2InPd by Materials Project
Mg2PdIn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2PdIn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one In atom. The Mg–Pd bond length is 2.47 Å. The Mg–In bond length is 3.11 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. In is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
