Materials Data on Mg2InGa by Materials Project
Mg2InGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2InGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one In and one Ga atom. The Mg–In bond length is 2.79 Å. The Mg–Ga bond length is 2.65 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
