Materials Data on Mg2HgRh by Materials Project
Mg2RhHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2RhHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Rh and one Hg atom. The Mg–Rh bond length is 2.50 Å. The Mg–Hg bond length is 3.07 Å. Rh is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
