Materials Data on Mg2GaPb by Materials Project
Mg2GaPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2GaPb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ga and one Pb atom. The Mg–Ga bond length is 2.79 Å. The Mg–Pb bond length is 2.84 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
