Materials Data on Mg2CuAu by Materials Project
Mg2AuCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2AuCu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Cu atom. The Mg–Au bond length is 2.63 Å. The Mg–Cu bond length is 2.53 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
