Materials Data on Mg2CuAs2 by Materials Project
(MgAs)2Cu crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of one copper molecule and two MgAs clusters. In each MgAs cluster, Mg2+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one As3- atom. The Mg–As bond length is 2.65 Å. As3- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Mg2+ atom.
