Materials Data on MgZrPt2 by Materials Project
MgZrPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Mg–Pt bond lengths are 2.85 Å. Zr2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Zr–Pt bond lengths are 2.85 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Mg2+ and four equivalent Zr2+ atoms.
