SOMD LOX/Methane Assessment, Data Analysis Subteam: MOX-E Test Series Analysis Summary
Fundamental explosive testing was conducted by the NASA/MSFC Blast Team (N2L) to determine yields produced from cryogenic liquid mixtures of methane and oxygen for a range of oxygen-to-fuel ratios. The blast wave overpressure and high-speed video data were processed by the NASA led multi-agency data analysis team. This document serves to provide a summary of the optimized data analysis produced and the resulting conclusions regarding the yields achieved during this test program.
