Materials Data on LiLa2Hg by Materials Project
LiLa2Hg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiLa2Hg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Both Li–La bond lengths are 3.16 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Hg atom. The La–Hg bond length is 3.04 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
