Materials Data on LiBe2Au by Materials Project
LiBe2Au crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiBe2Au ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Both Li–Be bond lengths are 2.56 Å. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Au atom. The Be–Au bond length is 2.25 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
