Materials Data on LiAlGa2 by Materials Project
LiGa2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiGa2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Li–Ga bond lengths are 2.65 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Al atom. The Ga–Al bond length is 2.52 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms.
