Materials Data on LaMgIn2 by Materials Project
MgLaIn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgLaIn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both Mg–In bond lengths are 2.93 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both La–In bond lengths are 2.98 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one La atom.
