Materials Data on LaHg2Pb by Materials Project
LaHg2Pb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaHg2Pb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both La–Hg bond lengths are 3.15 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one Pb atom. The Hg–Pb bond length is 2.94 Å. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms.
