Materials Data on LaCoTe by Materials Project
LaCoTe is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and six equivalent Te atoms. All La–Co bond lengths are 2.85 Å. All La–Te bond lengths are 3.29 Å. Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent La and four equivalent Te atoms. All Co–Te bond lengths are 2.85 Å. Te is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent La and four equivalent Co atoms.
