Materials Data on LaCd2In by Materials Project
LaCd2In crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaCd2In ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both La–Cd bond lengths are 3.40 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one In atom. The Cd–In bond length is 3.20 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms.
