Materials Data on La2MgCd by Materials Project
MgLa2Cd is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent La atoms. All Mg–La bond lengths are 3.42 Å. La is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Mg and four equivalent Cd atoms. All La–Cd bond lengths are 3.42 Å. Cd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent La atoms.
