Materials Data on La2GaIr by Materials Project
La2IrGa crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2IrGa ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Ga atom. The La–Ir bond length is 2.46 Å. The La–Ga bond length is 2.94 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
