Materials Data on La2CdAg by Materials Project
La2AgCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2AgCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Cd atom. The La–Ag bond length is 2.80 Å. The La–Cd bond length is 3.05 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
