Materials Data on La12Co6Pb by Materials Project
La12Co6Pb crystallizes in the cubic Im-3 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and one Pb atom. There are a spread of La–Co bond distances ranging from 2.74–3.73 Å. The La–Pb bond length is 3.73 Å. Co is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent La and one Co atom. The Co–Co bond length is 2.38 Å. Pb is bonded in a cuboctahedral geometry to twelve equivalent La atoms.
