Materials Data on KRhF6 by Materials Project

KRhF6 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K is bonded to twelve equivalent F atoms to form KF12 cuboctahedra that share corners with six equivalent RhF6 octahedra, edges with six equivalent KF12 cuboctahedra, and faces with two equivalent RhF6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 40°. There are six shorter (2.87 Å) and six longer (2.97 Å) K–F bond lengths. Rh is bonded to six equivalent F atoms to form RhF6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent KF12 cuboctahedra and faces with two equivalent KF12 cuboctahedra. All Rh–F bond lengths are 1.91 Å. F is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to two equivalent K and one Rh atom.
