Materials Data on KCrCdC6N6O by Materials Project
(K)2(Cr)2(Cd(CN)6)2O2 is Tungsten-derived structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four chromium molecules, four potassium molecules, four water molecules, and four Cd(CN)6 clusters. In each Cd(CN)6 cluster, Cd2+ is bonded in an octahedral geometry to six equivalent N3- atoms. All Cd–N bond lengths are 2.34 Å. C+2.33+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N3- atom. The C–N bond length is 1.17 Å. N3- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd2+ and one C+2.33+ atom.
