Materials Data on YScIn2 by Materials Project
YScIn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two YScIn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both Y–In bond lengths are 2.96 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both Sc–In bond lengths are 2.85 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to one Y and one Sc atom.
