Materials Data on HgN2 by Materials Project
HgN2 is high (beta) Cristobalite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hg2+ is bonded to four equivalent N1- atoms to form corner-sharing HgN4 tetrahedra. All Hg–N bond lengths are 2.21 Å. N1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg2+ atoms.
