Materials Data on Li2HgSb by Materials Project
Li2HgSb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Li2HgSb ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg1+ and one Sb3- atom. The Li–Hg bond length is 2.87 Å. The Li–Sb bond length is 2.65 Å. Hg1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li1+ atoms. Sb3- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li1+ atoms.
