Materials Data on La2HgRu by Materials Project
La2RuHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2RuHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ru and one Hg atom. The La–Ru bond length is 2.33 Å. The La–Hg bond length is 3.48 Å. Ru is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
