Materials Data on KTlHg2 by Materials Project
KHg2Tl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two KHg2Tl ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. K is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both K–Hg bond lengths are 3.34 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one K and one Tl atom. The Hg–Tl bond length is 3.09 Å. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms.
