Materials Data on KRbHg2 by Materials Project
RbKHg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two RbKHg2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Rb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Rb–Hg bond lengths are 3.77 Å. K is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both K–Hg bond lengths are 3.67 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Rb and one K atom.
