Materials Data on In2HgPb by Materials Project

HgIn2Pb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two HgIn2Pb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both Hg–In bond lengths are 2.98 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg and one Pb atom. The In–Pb bond length is 2.83 Å. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms.
